Peel the potatoes and pumpkin. Cut both into cubes. Put the potatoes in a high saucepan, cover with water and bring to the boil. After boiling for 5 minutes, add the pumpkin and simmer both together until it is soft. Take both off the stove and puree. Season with herb salt and pepper and serve sprinkled with parsley.
Baguettes, ciabatta, sausages or similar are enough.
Tips: You can stir in cream or grated cheese as you like. We also always pour a little water off before pureeing because we like the soup to be very creamy.
