Peel the potatoes, cut into thin slices and place in an ovenproof baking dish, season with salt and pepper. Bring the cream and processed cheese to the boil briefly in a saucepan and pour over the potatoes until they are all well covered. Bake at 225 degrees for 30-40 minutes until everything is golden brown. Very tasty with steaks or as a buffet.
