Instructions

  1. Depending on the type of Soljanka, cut the meat (or fish or mushrooms, sausage or sausage) into small pieces and fry in a pan with a little melted butter.
  2. Peel and chop the onions and fry them lightly in hot fat. Add tomato paste or tomato ketchup or letscho and cook for about 5 - 6 minutes.
  3. Wash and chop tomatoes. Now add the seared meat (or fish or mushrooms, sausage or sausage), the finely chopped cucumber, tomato pieces, capers, bay leaf and a little pepper. Pour hot broth over everything and season with salt.
  4. Let a solyanka with meat cook for about 1 hour. Let a solyanka with fish, mushrooms or sausage or sausage cook for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley or dill and put on some peeled and pitted lemon wedges (not with mushroom soljanka!). Serve hot.
