Mix the salt, baking powder and flour in a bowl, gradually adding the milk until a smooth batter is formed. Cut small pieces from the dough and shape into a thin roll with floured hands.
Wrap this roll loosely in a spiral around the stick wrapped in aluminum foil and bake it while turning over the embers. But make sure that the stick bread does not turn black. When it`s nice and crispy and light brown, you can take it off the stick and eat it.
