Instructions

  1. As a child I loved the Milchschnitte and today it still reminds me of beautiful childhood days. But when I read the ingredients, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up a little. I prefer to know what`s inside and just make it myself. Enjoy it!
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees circulating air.
  3. Beat the egg yolks in a bowl until the volume has doubled. Fold the sugar and vanilla sugar into the egg mixture until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Add cocoa powder, wheat flour and baking powder and mix everything into a fluffy batter.
  5. You rub this square on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and then push it into the oven. There you bake the dough for about 15 minutes. Be careful, check again and again whether the dough is already through, not that it is still black on top.
  6. Then let the dough cool down.
  7. Meanwhile you get to the filling of this delicious milk bar sandwich.
  8. Add the gelatine to the cream and whip until stiff.
  9. Cut off the dry edges of the biscuit and divide the base in the middle. Now brush one half with the cream and place the other part of the base on top.
  10. Now you cut your large milk slices into small rectangles.
