The recipe is designed for a 6.5 liter slow cooker / CrockPot (CP).
First rub the insert of the crockpot with a little oil.
Fry the minced meat in a separate pan until crumbly. Add the onion and the bacon, sauté briefly and put everything in the CP. Then layer the paprika pieces, garlic, salt, pepper, possibly other spices, thyme and finally the cabbage. The CP should now be almost completely full. Now pour the chopped pizza tomatoes over the cabbage. Mix the pizza sauce with the sugar and pour over the dish as well. Cover. Cooking time: about 8 hours on low (lowest, but not warming level) or 4 hours on high (highest level). Stir everything well, season to taste and serve with sour cream.
Note: The cooking time depends very much on the appliance.
