Instructions

  1. Boil rice and cut the meat into fine strips at the same time. Wash the vegetables, cut the paprika into pieces, cut the carrot into slices or sticks and the spring onions into wafer-thin rings. Press the garlic cloves with a garlic press.
  2. Season the meat with teriyaki marinade (if there is enough time, marinate properly for 2 hours) and fry in a pan.
  3. Meanwhile, heat the wok (if you don`t have a wok, you can of course use a normal pan).
  4. As soon as the wok is hot, add the peppers, carrots and onions and toss a little.
  5. Put the green beans, corn, kidney beans and canned tomatoes in the wok, add the spices and garlic and then the meat and rice.
  6. Mix everything well and deglaze with teriyaki marinade, if necessary add one or two tablespoons of soupy from the canned tomatoes.
  7. Finally, season again with the spices and serve.
  8. About the spices:
  9. The spices are added one after the other: a pinch of salt, a little pepper, a little hot paprika and Chinese spices (pepper, paprika, Chinese spices each take the same amount). Then add the chilli powder (to taste, but it is better not to take too much). Then there is plenty of curry.
  10. It is important that you do not exactly taste the spices individually, but that they give off an interesting note overall.
  11. Tip: Can easily be modified, e.g. you can omit the kidney beans, cut mushrooms into slices and add them, use turkey instead of pork, experiment with the spices depending on your taste.
