Instructions

  1. Drain the cherries well in a sieve, collecting about four tablespoons of juice. Whip the cream with the cream stabilizer. Finely chop four bounty bars, cut the fifth bar into slices to decorate the dessert and set aside.
  2. Mix the bounty crumbs in a bowl with the quark, vanilla sugar and mascarpone, add the chocolate sprinkles and coconut chips and fold in the cream.
  3. Crumble the cookies and knoppers in a freezer bag. If you can`t do this by hand, you can use a rolling pin to help. The dessert can either be layered in a large bowl or filled immediately into portion bowls. Depending on the occasion, you can decide accordingly.
  4. You start by distributing the biscuit and waffle crumbs. With a large baking dish, half of this mixture is spread across the bottom of the pan. Mix kirsch with cherry juice and drizzle half of the liquid over the crumb layer. Now cover the crumbs with the quark-cream mixture with a third of the cream. Then distribute the well-drained cherries evenly on top and spread the second third of the cream on the cherries. Cover with a layer of biscuit crumbs and drizzle with the remaining liquid. As the last layer, distribute the remaining third of the quark-cream mixture on top. Sprinkle with cocoa and decorate with the cut bounty slices and coconut chips.
  5. The dessert is by no means low in calories, but chilled it is very refreshing and a real treat that always goes down well! If children also eat, the kirsch should be replaced with pure cherry juice. Instead of cherries, pineapples or bananas are also very tasty in dessert. You then have to adjust the liquid with an appropriate alternative such as pineapple juice and Batida de Coco.
