Instructions

  1. First prepare the mashed potatoes for the duchess potatoes. Of course, you can also use one from the box, but I prefer to make it myself.
  2. Peel and quarter the potatoes. At the same time, put on a saucepan with water and add a little salt. When the water is bubbling, cook the potatoes in the saucepan for about 10 minutes, until they are completely soft.
  3. Then drain the water and mash the potatoes in a saucepan or a large bowl together with a little milk and a little melted butter and season with salt and pepper. It is better to add the milk little by little until the mashed potatoes are nice and creamy. You are welcome to season again with spices.
  4. Put the finished mashed potatoes in a piping bag and squirt small heaps onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Place the duchess potatoes in the oven for about 20 - 25 minutes at 150 ° C (convection) until the duchess potatoes are nice and brown on top.
  5. In the meantime, cut the pork schnitzel in half and season with plenty of paprika, pepper and salt and then fry until the meat is cooked through.
  6. For the beans, put on a saucepan with water, add salt and as soon as it bubbles, add the beans. I cooked them for 8-10 minutes, but I also prefer them to be too soft than too hard - always pay attention to what is written on the packaging regarding the preparation.
