Instructions

  1. Bring the water and stock powder to the boil together.
  2. Dissolve the oat bran in the milk in a container. Add the eggs and whisk everything together. Add the salt.
  3. Let a pan rubbed with a few drops of oil (add 3-4 drops of oil to the pan and rub the whole thing with a paper towel) warm up. Slowly cook the Flädle mixture in the pan - it should ideally be golden brown on both sides. Turning it around is a bit difficult, but Flädle naturally forgives small mistakes, they will be cut up anyway.
  4. Let the pancake cool briefly and then cut into strips (the length of the strips can be adjusted to personal preference). Add the pancakes to the soup and enjoy.
  5. Tip for turning: I use two dough scrapers at the same time. Because this type of pancake loves to break. The best chance of turning it whole or at least in half is with several scrapers.
  6. Info: for the sake of simplicity, I use soup powder (but in homeopathic dilution because of the fat and salt). For Dukan fans: the recipe is also suitable for the attack phase. You just have to pay attention to the fat and salt because of the broth - but the soup is the most important thing. For Dukan newbies: the diet is about not eating any carbohydrates (after an initial phase, they are allowed again every other day in the form of vegetables, but of course no potatoes or the like) - the diet is therefore only for real meat - and suitable for yoghurt lovers.
