First of all, I was interested in the promised crispy crust of this bread. The cooking method is unusual, I also want to try it! There is nothing supernatural about the products, so we make Dutch bread in the form of buns!
Let’s start by making the dough. The dough is simple, yeast-bread.
First, you need to activate the yeast (make a dough): add 1 tablespoon to half a glass of water with warm milk. a spoonful of sugar, yeast, and 1 tablespoon. a spoonful of flour
Stir the dough and let stand in a warm place for 5 minutes. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. We introduce the dough, the remaining milk, and vegetable oil.
Knead the elastic dough for a few minutes. I repeated the recipe for the first time, and it seemed to me that the dough is a little denser than necessary (perhaps because of flour, everyone has different moisture content).
Cover the yeast dough with foil and let it come up well in a warm place, about 1 hour.
The dough should double in size. Knead the dough that has come up and divide it into pieces of about 60 grams. We form balls from blanks.
Put the balls on a baking sheet, greased with butter, and sprinkled with flour. Cover the baking sheet with foil and let the buns stand for another 15 minutes.
During this time, we will prepare an interesting shaving rice glaze. Melt the butter in the microwave and combine with all the glaze ingredients. We add water gradually, we need the consistency of thick sour cream. Stir, then leave to stand for 10 minutes.
Apply glaze-topping to the buns. It is best to do this with your hands. Call the children, they will really like this activity. At this time, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
We bake Dutch bread in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees until golden brown. Crispy crust and tender crumb! Delicious bread!
