Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, pudding powder and salt dry. Then knead in the butter, egg white, vanilla flavor and bitter almond flavor. Put the dough in a cool place for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  2. Then do not roll out the dough too thinly and cut out Easter eggs. Mix the egg yolks with the cream. Brush the lower halves of the biscuits with it and then sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  3. Bake for about 10 - 12 minutes at 160 ° C fan oven. Let the finished cookies cool down briefly on the baking sheet, otherwise they will break easily.
  4. Makes approx. 90 pieces, 4 - 5 trays full.
  5. I wouldn`t swap the hail sugar for something else, because it gives the cookies their very special taste. So, if you have calories, please do it correctly.
  6. Note: I doubled the quantities of the original recipe, because otherwise it is never enough for us. But if you still want to try it, you can easily cut the quantities in half again.
