Instructions

  1. Fry the minced meat, season with salt and pepper and then leave to cool.
  2. Halve the rolls, toast and cut into cubes. For the top layer of the salad, leave 4 bread roll lids whole. Cut the iceberg lettuce into small pieces.
  3. For the relish (needed for the sauce):
  4. Roughly chop the bell pepper, onion and pickles and place in a bowl. Add the balsamic vinegar, sugar, salt and mustard. Then puree the mixture. Bring the mixture to the boil in a saucepan and simmer for approx. 10 minutes over medium heat, then allow to cool.
  5. For the salad dressing:
  6. Pour the mayonnaise into a bowl, add the French dressing, ketchup, fried onions and 6 finely chopped pickles. Stir in 3 - 4 tablespoons of the homemade cucumber relish. Then heat everything in the microwave, don`t forget to stir in between!
  7. Layer the ingredients as follows:
  8. The bread, lettuce, sauce, meat, cheese, bread, lettuce, sauce, meat, cheese, bread.
