Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cut the aubergine into slices, place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and lightly salt. Then place in the oven for about 5-10 minutes, until the aubergine slices are slightly soft.
Then place the aubergine slices in a baking dish as you normally would with the lasagne plates and alternately layer the aubergine layer (put the finely chopped garlic on top) and the tomato sauce from the glass. Scatter cheese on top and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.

Instead of the tomato sauce from the glass, you can prepare your own lasagne sauce.
