Instructions

  1. Wash the apple, remove the core and grate coarsely with the peel. Mix with a little lemon juice so it doesn`t turn brown.
  2. Mix the sour cream with the eggs and sugar.
  3. Mix the flour with the baking powder and cinnamon and add to the sour cream and egg mixture. Stir everything until smooth. Finally, fold in the grated apple.
  4. Preheat a waffle iron. If necessary, grease with oil and bake golden-brown waffles from the batter.
  5. Dust with powdered sugar if necessary.
  6. The batter is enough for approx. 6 heart waffles. The waffles don`t get crispy, they stay soft and juicy!
  7. Of course, you can also bake the waffles with normal type flour (405) and white sugar. Then please use 250g flour!
