- I juiced the elderberries in a steam juicer because I let the juice cool down and measured 1 liter of it.
- Peel and core the Jacob Fischer apples and then immediately add the grated apple to the elderberry juice, because the apple turns brown very quickly.
- Add the preserving sugar and cook according to the instructions, then pour into prepared twist-off glasses.
- For me it resulted in 10.5 glasses a 230ml.
- I did the juicing a day before making jam.
