I make elderberry juice with a juicer. You can also boil the berries and press them through a sieve.
Bring the juice with the milk, from which you took something away to stir in the pudding powder, to the boil with the cinnamon stick, star anise, cloves, salt and sugar, stir in the pudding powder and bring to the boil again.
We then crumble rusks, which are put in the plate. Pour the elderberry soup over it.
Helps well with colds, because you work up a sweat after eating!
