Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, dry yeast, sugar and salt. Add the milk and knead everything very thoroughly to form an elastic dough. Place the dough in a bowl and let rise, covered, for about 45 minutes, until it has doubled its volume. Then knock off the dough and let rise again for 45 minutes.
  2. Grease a 500 g loaf pan, shape the dough into a long roll and place it in an S-shape in the loaf pan. Cover and let rise for approx. 1 hour until the dough protrudes over the edge of the pan.
  3. Brush the bread with lukewarm milk and bake in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 45 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
