One of my favorite dishes is fajitas. But it`s also because I like Mexican food.
You can fill them in many different ways. Here is my variant:
Since you always fill fajitas yourself, I always put tomatoes, grated cheese and guacamole, chopped into sour cream, on the table beforehand.
Preparation:
I cut the roast beef into strips as I do with strips of meat. I cut the onion into eighths and loosen the slices from each other. The peppers are also cut into bite-sized pieces.
Then I heat the oil in a pan. When this is hot enough, I fry the onions and peppers in it for about five minutes.
In the meantime, I season the roast beef with salt, pepper and chilli. Then I add the roast beef to the onions and peppers and fry it for 3 - 4 minutes. Then I add the salsa sauce and let everything boil briefly and it`s done.
The whole thing can then be seasoned with Tabasco. Depending on how spicy you like it.
The soft tortillas are then heated in the microwave in half a minute.
Then the pan is placed on a coaster in the middle of the table as well as the warmed up tortillas.
So and now everyone can fill it to their heart`s content. And when filled they are called fajitas
