Instructions

  1. First, the light and airy dough is prepared. To do this, the eggs are beaten together with the sugar, the vanilla sugar and the orange peel until they look noticeably lighter and frothy. The flour is mixed with the baking powder and salt and sifted into the egg mixture. Together with the oil, everything is then carefully folded in. At the very end, the Fanta is folded in as carefully as possible so that not too much carbon dioxide escapes. When everything has combined to form an even dough, it can be placed on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread out.
  2. The sheet cake is then baked in the preheated oven at 180 ° C top / bottom heat for 20-25 minutes. When the cake looks golden yellow, it is done and needs to cool down well.
  3. For the cream, the peaches are diced into bite-sized pieces. The quark is mixed with the sour cream and the peach pieces are folded in. The cream stiffener is mixed with the vanilla sugar and added to the cream while whipping. Finally, the whipped cream is lifted under the quark mass and the cream is spread on the cooled base.
