Instructions

  1. I varied the classic Fanta cake with strawberries for the summer. Luscious Fanta base, a light sour cream and fresh strawberries.
  2. For the bottom, beat the eggs with the sugar until they have doubled in volume. Add the Fanta and the oil to the egg mixture and stir well. Sieve the remaining ingredients and stir into the Fanta batter spoon by spoon on a low heat. Then pour the dough into your 24 cm form. Place the Fanta cake in the preheated oven at 160 ° C top / bottom heat for approx. 20 - 25 minutes. Let cool down completely after baking.
  3. Place a cake ring tightly around the base. For the topping, heat the strawberry jam slightly in a saucepan or in the microwave and spread it on the cake base. Wash and clean the strawberries and pick out some strawberries of the same size as possible. Halve these and place them tightly on the bottom of the strawberry cake with the cut edge facing the cake ring. Spread the remaining strawberries that have not been halved in the center of the cake base. Mix the sour cream with the Fanta until creamy. Then add the cream and whip until the mixture begins to thicken. Then add the San-apart and whip again briefly until you get a firm cream. Spread the cream on the strawberries with light pressure and smooth out with a pastry card.
  4. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle on the Fanta cake. Then remove the cake ring and serve well chilled.
  5. Tip: You can of course serve it classically without fruit or with tangerines instead of strawberries.
