Put the flour and salt in a bowl. Add the dry yeast and lukewarm water. If using a yeast cube, dissolve it in lukewarm water beforehand. Knead the dough well for about 10 minutes. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water if necessary. Cover and let the dough rise for about 2 hours.
Shape the dough into two loaves of the same size and put them into molds (if available). I always do it without a mold and the bread still turns out to be a nice loaf. Bake in the preheated oven at approx. 230 ° C on the lowest rack for approx. 60 minutes. Put another cup of water on the bottom of the oven.
For the optics, you can dust the bread with a little flour before baking and, if necessary, conjure up a pattern in the crust with a knife.
If you don`t want that much bread, you can cut the amount in half, then you get a loaf.
