Mix all dry ingredients, add melted butter and lukewarm milk. Knead everything into a smooth dough. Do not let go! Divide the dough into 3 equal pieces and roll out each piece one after the other on a floured work surface into a circle (25 cm diameter), divide into 8 triangles and roll up tightly from the outside towards the center.
Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sea salt and caraway seeds. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 15 minutes.
Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees on the middle rack for about 25 minutes.
Freezing tip: freeze the unbaked sticks, allow to thaw and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
Or: You can also bake the sticks for 15 minutes, let them cool down and freeze. If necessary, you can take them out of the freezer, brush the sticks with a little water and bake them in the non-preheated oven.
