Instructions

  1. Clean the fennel bulb and slice it as finely as possible. Put in a bowl. Mix with salt, pepper and the basil and knead vigorously for 2-3 minutes. Add lemon juice and olive oil and let steep for 10 minutes. In the meantime, core the watermelon and cut it into cubes. Mix with the fennel strips.
  2. Arrange the Parma ham on plates and add the salad. Season with pepper and serve immediately.
  3. The aniseed taste of the tuber goes perfectly with watermelon and Parma ham.
