Salt and pepper the chicken legs. Dice the onion and garlic cloves. Quarter tomatoes. Core the chilli and cut into small rings.
Heat the oil in a roasting pan, fry the chicken all over, remove. Sauté the onions, garlic, chilli and tomatoes, place the bay leaves and chicken thighs on top. Pour in the wine and cook in a closed pot for approx. 45 minutes.
Season to taste and sprinkle with chopped parsley. If you don`t have enough liquid, just add red wine.
