Boil the potatoes in their skins just under cooked for 8-10 minutes. In the meantime, core the chillies. Dice the garlic and chillies very finely. Alternatively, dried chillies can also be used. Add the garlic, chilli, salt and pepper to the olive oil and toss the hot potatoes in it.
After cooling, stick on skewers and grill for a few minutes on both sides on the hot wire rack. The skewers can be prepared a few hours before grilling.
The potatoes are very suitable as a side dish to grilled meat and vegetables and taste especially good with a herb or wild garlic quark.
