Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into 4-5 slices. Place in a small greased roaster. Drain the mushrooms and slice the onion. Spread both on the meat. Mix together the ketchup, soy sauce, Tabasco, spice mixture and basil. Pour evenly over the meat, cover and chill for approx. 24 hours.
Cover and stew the Tabasco pot in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for 1 ¾ to 2 hours. Then remove the lid and stew for another 20 minutes. Garnish with basil to serve. There is also flatbread or rice.
