Bring the fresh figs to the boil with the sugar in the saucepan, caramelize a little and then add the remaining ingredients. Simmer for about 5 minutes, then mix well with the hand blender and simmer gently for another 10 minutes. Then immediately pour hot into the prepared glasses.
Makes 2 larger and 2 small glasses.
Do not make too much of it, as it can only be kept in the refrigerator for about 4 weeks.
