Instructions

  1. Peel the figs thinly or peel off the skin thinly.
  2. Melt the butter and sugar in a small saucepan and let them caramelize slightly, not too dark. Deglaze with port wine and the freshly squeezed orange juice. Place the figs in the sauce, turn them over and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  3. Serve immediately with a little vanilla ice cream.
