Instructions

  1. Separate the meat sausage from the intestines. It is best to use one with artificial casing so that it can be removed more easily. Cut the entire length of the meat sausage 2 cm deep on the inside. Fill the opening with peppers and the cheese cut into strips.
  2. Shape the minced meat into an approx. 1 cm thick, round plate that is 10 cm larger than the sausage ring and place the meat sausage on it. Cut the minced meat platter from the center over the open area of the meat sausage ring to the edge. Put the minced meat over the sausage so that it is completely covered. Connect the open area with the excess minced meat so that a closed ring is created.
  3. Wrap the whole ring with bacon slices so that no more minced meat can be seen.
  4. Place the finished ring on an unperforated grill tray. Place these in the preheated grill on the wire rack. In the closed grill with indirect heat with a two-zone embers at approx. 180 ° C
