Beat the margarine until foamy and add the sugar, then stir the eggs one after the other in the mixture. Drizzle the aroma into the sugar-egg mixture and mix the flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt and mix into the dough.
Grease a springform pan and spread the batter on it.
Peel the apples beforehand, remove the core and cut into small pieces and sauté briefly in a little apple juice (add a little sugar and vanilla sugar depending on the variety).
Let the cooked apples cool down a little and place on the dough.
Prepare the crumble and sprinkle over it (omit the cinnamon for cherries).
Baking time about 45 minutes at 180/200 degrees top and bottom heat.
