Instructions

  1. For the dough, sieve the flour into a bowl and make a well in the middle. Whisk the yeast and sugar in the milk, pour into the recess, cover with flour, make a thick porridge. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
  2. Spread the butter and salt on the edge of the flour. Knead the ingredients from the center to a smooth dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  3. For the TOPPING, put the quark through a sieve and mix it with the eggs, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest and cream.
  4. For the STREUSEL, mix the butter, sugar and flour together. Use two forks or your hands to make crumbles from it.
  5. For the GUSS, stir the pudding powder into a little cold milk until smooth. Then bring the rest of the milk with the sugar and salt to a boil in a saucepan. Pour in the mixed pudding powder and bring to the boil while stirring. Let the pudding cool a little, stirring occasionally so that no skin forms.
  6. Knead the dough and roll it out on a floured surface. Grease a tall baking sheet or line it with parchment paper. Pour the dough on top, pulling up one edge.
  7. Spread the quark mixture on the dough and top it with the crumble. Add the eggs, butter, cornstarch and cream to the pudding. Mix everything well and cover the cake with it.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C (gas level 2, convection 160 ° C) for about 40 minutes.
