Bring the rice in the meat stock to a boil and cook until cooked. Fry the minced meat and onion in a pan (with a little oil if necessary) until the minced meat is nicely browned. Peel the boiled egg and chop it into small cubes.
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C fan oven.
Mix the minced meat, rice and egg, add the cream and season with the above-mentioned spices. Don`t worry about all the cream, it will make the casserole really juicy!
Line the bottom of a greased baking dish with half of the puff pastry. Pour the minced meat filling over it and distribute it evenly, place the other half of the puff pastry on top. Brush the puff pastry lid with the beaten egg, then poke many holes in the lid with a fork. Bake the casserole in the oven for about 25 minutes, until the puff pastry has reached the desired brownness.
The original Finnish name for the casserole is levy-lihapiirakka. The casserole is intended as a main course for 4 people or as a starter for about 6 - 8 people and tastes good with a mixed salad. By the way, it also tastes very good cold!
