Instructions

  1. Mix the oatmeal, sugar, flour and baking powder together in a bowl. Melt the butter lukewarm and add it to the mixture. Stir well. Add the egg and stir vigorously until a smooth dough is formed.
  2. Using a teaspoon, place small heaps of dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Pay attention to the large gaps, the dough runs out completely flat (approx. 9 piles per tray). Bake at 225 ° for about 6 minutes until golden. Caution: the cookies turn too brown quickly! Let it cool down first and then remove it from the tray. The cookies must have set before they can be placed on top of each other. The dough is about 30 pieces.
  3. Tip: You can also cool the cookies on a rolling pin and let them solidify, so they get a nice, curved shape. The cookies are also ideal for decorating and as an accompaniment to various desserts, e.g. crème brûlée.
