Cut the bacon into thin strips and fry in a skillet over high heat for 4-5 minutes. (You can use raw smoked bacon or brisket.)
Cut the onion into small cubes. Chop the garlic finely with a knife.
Put the onion and garlic in the pan with the bacon, add the olive oil, and fry everything together for about 5 minutes.
Cut the cherry tomatoes into halves.
Add the tomatoes to the pan to the rest of the ingredients.
Pour in the tomato puree. Reduce heat to medium and simmer tomato sauce for 10 minutes.
Add green peas. (You can take frozen peas and, without even defrosting them first, immediately put them in the pan.) Stir the contents of the pan. Add salt and black pepper to the sauce.
Put the pieces of fish fillet on top – as if drowning the fish in tomato sauce. Simmer fish in tomato sauce, covered for 15-20 minutes.
