Instructions

  1. Core, peel and slice the apple.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan. Fry the apple slices a little on one side, then turn and drizzle with the honey. Briefly continue frying.
  3. In the meantime, heat the calvados in a metal ladle over a warmer. Remove the pan from the oven, ignite the calvados and pour over the apples. As soon as the flames have gone out, remove the apple slices from the pan.
  4. Put the pan back on the stove and add a dash of cream and caramelize a little.
  5. Serve the apple slices together with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Drizzle the caramelized liquid from the pan over the apples and dust with a pinch of cinnamon if necessary. A small dollop of cream with vanilla sugar is also good.
