Clean and wash the strawberries, quarter one half and cut the rest in half. Mix together the powdered sugar and orange liqueur and let the quartered strawberries steep for about an hour.
Heat a pan over a high flame and add the strawberry quarters with the marinade and pepper and bring to the boil briefly. Put the rum in a ladle, pour over the strawberries and light (BE CAREFUL !!!!!!!), put the strawberry halves in a bowl, mix in the flambéed strawberries. Arrange everything and serve with vanilla ice cream
