Instructions

  1. Dough:
  2. Process all ingredients into a kneading dough and then chill for approx. 30 minutes. Fill in a 26 springform pan and pull up an edge of 1-2 cm.
  3. For the filling, peel and core the apples and cut into large pieces (8 of approx. 1 cm). Sprinkle the breadcrumbs on the dough base and distribute half of the fruit (cherries & apples) on top. Mix the quark, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest, eggs, semolina and cream well together and spread over the fruit. Distribute the remaining apple pieces on the quark mixture. Save the remaining cherries.
  4. Bake at 170 ° top and bottom heat for about 70 minutes. Let the cake cool down and remove it from the mold after at least 2 hours of cooling (also in the refrigerator). Spread the cherries on the quark and prepare the icing according to the instructions on the packet and pour over it. Then chill again a little and serve well chilled.
