Put the oil in a mixing bowl and sift the powdered sugar over it. The two ingredients are mixed with a whisk until a smooth mass is formed. Then sift the flour over the mixture and mix it too.
As soon as the mixture forms a homogeneous dough, it is formed into a ball. Little by little, small pieces can now be cut off and rolled into balls about 4 cm in size. These are laid out on a baking sheet.
The biscuits are baked in the oven at 160 ° C top and bottom heat for about 15 minutes. The oven does not have to be preheated! The biscuits should be checked after about 10 minutes, as they should not turn brown.
The batter makes about 20 biscuits that taste soft and crumbly. The flour biscuits can be decorated with powdered sugar or chocolate as desired. The oil can be varied according to taste. I like them best with 50 ml rapeseed oil and 50 ml hazelnut kernel oil.
