Instructions

  1. Wash the oranges thoroughly and pat dry. Cut off a lid at the top and carefully scrape out the pulp with a teaspoon. Catch the pulp in a small bowl and squeeze it out with your hands. It should be 250 ml of juice. If necessary, fill up to 250 ml with orange juice.
  2. In a small saucepan, bring 60 g sugar to the boil with 2 tablespoons milk. Let it boil for 1 minute, then pour in the orange juice.
  3. Cool this mixture WELL. Put the hollowed out oranges in the refrigerator until you are ready to use them again
  4. Whip the cream until stiff and stir into the well-chilled orange juice and sugar mixture.
  5. Immediately pour the cream into the hollowed out, cooled oranges, put the lids back on and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
  6. To serve, place the frozen oranges in portions on small bowls or a little deeper saucer, decorate as you wish, don`t forget the ice cream spoon - happy ice age!
