First, the onion is finely chopped. Then fry them in olive oil in a large pan.
Open the two cans of fool beans, but do not pour the liquid away! When the onions are nice and translucent, add the beans and simmer on a low heat for about 5 minutes. When the beans are so soft that you can mash them a little, add the diced tomatoes and cucumber and heat them briefly.
Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice and serve with fresh flatbread.
