Peel the potatoes, wash them briefly and put them in a saucepan with water. Then cut the potatoes into one-centimeter-thick slices and then cut them into one-centimeter-wide sticks. Put the potato sticks back into the pot with water.
Bring about a liter of water to the boil in another saucepan, add two teaspoons of sea salt and blanch the raw French fries in salted water for 2 minutes. Drain the blanched potatoes in a sieve, rinse briefly with cold water and allow to drain. Then place the potato sticks on a clean kitchen towel and dry them well.
Fry the potatoes in a hot air fryer with a tablespoon of sunflower oil according to the instructions.
Serve the finished french fries immediately and season with a little salt.
