Carefully remove the crust from the toast with a sharp knife and roll the toast flat with a rolling pin. If you like, spread the Nutella and mascarpone on one side and top with strawberries (if you want you can also use other fruits .. I also like to use bananas.).
Shape each toast into a roll. Beat and whisk an egg in a bowl and place the sugar on a flat plate. Then roll the toast rolls first in the egg and then in the brown sugar.
Melt some butter in a hot pan, add the rolls and fry, turning constantly. When the sugar starts to caramelize, the rolls are ready.
If you want, you can garnish the rolls with fresh fruit, Nutella and some powdered sugar.
