Clean the mushrooms. Remove residues from the plant substrate with a brush, shorten the stem if necessary. Halve or quarter larger mushrooms. Cut the onions into pieces of any size.
Heat the olive oil with the onion pieces in a pan and sear, turning over the heat that is not too high, until they are lightly browned. Then dust with paprika powder, about 1 tablespoon, and turn several times. Now add the mushrooms and fry, turning them frequently, until they have taken on a little color.
Now salt, grind pepper over it and, if necessary, sprinkle some paprika powder over it, turn a few times and let simmer briefly, you should not draw any water. Then try to see if the mushrooms are done enough, serve with fresh baguette and enjoy.
If you like, you can also add sauce as you like. B. at the fair, but I can`t provide a recipe - I love to eat it only with the onions and not swimming in so much oil.
