Instructions

  1. Peel raw, as thick as possible asparagus stalks and cut into large 3mm thin slices. Heat the olive oil in the pan and slowly fry the asparagus slices, turning them constantly. Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar. Just before serving, add 2 tablespoons of pesto rosso and toss everything again. It goes well with Parma ham or beef carpaccio.
