Peel and roughly grate the kohlrabi. Peel the onion, cut lengthways and cut into fine half rings.
Heat a pan, add a dash of oil and sauté the onion. Add the kohlrabi, stir and reduce the temperature a little. Place the lid on the pan, stirring occasionally. The kohlrabi is done after 5 minutes at the latest. Season with salt, pepper and, if you like, caraway seeds or spices of your choice.
Tip:
You can also mix the kohlrabi with many other vegetables or just cook other varieties.
