Instructions

  1. Cook the dumplings almost completely according to the instructions on the packet, simply take them out two or three minutes beforehand and set them aside.
  2. While the Maultaschen is cooking, wash and clean the lamb`s lettuce, tomatoes and spring onions. Chop the tomatoes and onions into small pieces.
  3. Pat the dumplings dry and cut into strips approx. 2 cm thick. Fry them in butter in a pan and lightly brown a small handful of breadcrumbs when they are brown and crispy.
  4. Mix the tomatoes, lamb`s lettuce and spring onions in a bowl and drizzle with a dressing of mustard, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. If available, sprinkle with fresh herbs.
  5. Arrange salad and Maultaschen on plates and decorate with pumpkin seed oil. If you like, you can also rub parmesan on top.
