Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them raw lengthways into approx. 1.5 cm thick slices. Put the slices in water so they don`t turn brown. Then lay the potato slices flat on a board and cut out cookies with cookie cutters. Cut out small buttons from the rest with an apple corer. Put the buttons and the rest of the fry scrap in the water so that they don`t turn brown.
  2. Spread the potato biscuits on a kitchen towel and pat dry. You may also need to dry it with a hairdryer. Fill a deep fryer with 2 kg of deep-frying fat and heat it to 160 ° C. Fry the potato biscuits in it for about five minutes. Do the same with the chips.
  3. Drain the potato biscuits and the scrap chips. Before eating, fry a second time at 180 ° C for four to five minutes until they are golden-brown.
