Let the butter get hot in a non-stick pan, but don`t smoke. Halve or quarter the radishes and sauté in the butter. Add the sugar, stir. Add apple cider vinegar and hot broth, put the lid on the pan and simmer for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper.
Tastes very good with grilled and pan-fried foods. The typical sharpness of radishes is reduced, the vegetables taste best when they are slightly crunchy.
