Instructions

  1. Wash the zucchini, cut off the ends, if necessary peel it if it is not organic and cut or slice into approx. 2 mm thick slices.
  2. Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the zucchini slices on both sides until they get some color. Then take it out of the pan and let the oil drain off on kitchen paper.
  4. In the same pan with oil, sauté the chopped onion and garlic briefly.
  5. Put the zucchini slices, onion and garlic cubes in a bowl.
  6. Squeeze the lemons, pour the juice over the vegetables and season well with salt & pepper.
  7. Since the salad can be eaten warm or cold, both are very tasty, please season the cold version with salt & pepper again.
  8. With a baguette, this salad is also a main meal here in summer.
